Avocado Crema (Crema de Aguacate)

Avocado Crema

Smooth, pourable cousin of guacamole. Blended and thinned to dressing consistency.

Ingredients (~250 ml)

Ripe avocado flesh (~1 large)150 g
Sour cream (or Mexican crema)60 g
Fresh lime juice (~1 lime)25 ml
Fresh cilantro leaves10 g
Garlic clove (small)3 g
Kosher salt3 g
Ground cumin1.5 g
Water or milk (to thin)15–30 ml

Method

Blend avocado, sour cream, lime juice, cilantro, garlic, salt, and cumin until smooth. Thin to dressing consistency.

Notes

Press plastic wrap directly onto surface when storing to prevent browning. Best within 2 days.

Pairs with: Tacos, tostadas, roasted vegetables.
